Palestinians, symbolically blindfolded and standing behind barbed wire, raise their hands in V-signs, during a rally in support of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails, in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
The rallies were called five days after the inmates went on hunger strike on 27 September to protest against the solitary confinement of some of their fellow prisoners, including a leader of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Prisoners hunger strike continues as of today..

According to the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR)’s Weekly Report, during the week of 28 Feb.- 05 Mar. 2008, 114 Palestinians were killed, and 28 were injured by the Israeli military. Of those killed, 77 were killed by Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip. 27 were children, including two babies, 6 were women, and one was a paramedic. 69 of the victims were killed by Israeli forces in Jabalya refugee camp in the Gaza Strip during a massive air and ground assault. 236 Palestinians, including 154 civilians (this figure includes 56 children and 11 women) were wounded by Israeli forces.

I am still in utter disbelief that the content of my first al-qudseya account that was deleted months and months ago is still circulating. I don’t care how many times they delete my account… as long as this eye-opening stuff is still able to be seen.
